This wooden study desk draws on mid-century modern design, with a curved carcass and matching drawer fronts as its centrepiece. Shaping the curves while working with brittle timber tested my patience and precision, especially fitting the drawers to run smoothly. The result is a piece that's sleek, functional, and genuinely satisfying to have built.
