My Body of Work explores the relationship between humanity and the natural environment, focusing on the consequences of pollution, deforestation and industrialisation. Through lino printing and photography, I use glasses as a recurring symbol of perception and awareness. The landscapes outside the lenses suggest the idealised way society often views nature, while the imagery inside the glasses reveals the reality of environmental damage. By contrasting beauty with destruction, my work challenges audiences to reconsider what they choose to see or ignore and to recognise humanity’s responsibility for protecting the world on which we depend.
